Putting Our Steps to Work for Those Who Served

Philanthropy has always been a tremendous part of the Siege Management Group culture. As a team, we routinely participate in volunteer activities that give back to our communities. Our most recent endeavor takes a different twist. Not only are we raising money for a terrific cause, the Wounded Warrior Project, but we’re improving our own health at the same time.

“As a team, we’re using the Charity Miles app to put our steps to work to earn funds for this great cause,” said Manny, our Siege Management Group President. “The way this works is we downloaded this app and picked one of the organizations that was near to our hearts. How it works is for each step we take, a sponsor donates to our cause.”

We selected the Wounded Warrior Project because of the great work they do to support our military men and women who were injured while serving our country. This program provides them and their families with resources they need to heal mentally and physically.

“What’s great about this volunteer effort is it’s something we can do as a team. It gets our blood pumping, and we’re motivated to engage in physical activities together,” Manny explained. “We try to work in as many team walks and runs as possible, knowing that each step counts to help someone who might not be able to walk right now.”
